What you can expect from us.

Last updated August 2026

Draft notice. Memloc is a student hackathon project. This page describes what we intend to do in plain language, and has not been reviewed by a lawyer. Treat it as a statement of intent, not a contract.

Memloc is early

Memloc was built for the WDCC × SESA 2026 hackathon and is still in active development. Features will change, and some of them will break. Anything you anchor should also exist somewhere you control.

No warranty

The software is provided as-is, without warranty of any kind. We cannot promise it will be available, accurate or free of defects, and we are not liable for work lost through using it.

Using it sensibly

Do not use Memloc to store material you have no right to hold, and do not scan spaces you have no right to scan. Because the app runs locally, what you put in it is entirely your call — and entirely your responsibility.

Early access messages

Joining the early access list means we may email you about builds and milestones. It does not entitle you to access, and you can ask to be removed at any time.

Changes to these terms

We will update this page as the project grows up. Continuing to use Memloc after a change means you accept the current version. Questions go to hello@memloc.app.
